Quality assurance and continuous improvement in higher education is very important. Considering this a priority, Quality Assurance Agency at Higher Education Commission was established. Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) was established at University of Sargodha (UOS) in November, 2006 on the direction of HEC for the implementation and execution of QA policies.
QEC at UoS implements, monitor , review and report quality parameters to its statutory bodies and Higher Education Commission after conducting surveys from students, faculty, graduating students, alumni and employers. QEC also participate in HEC National ranking, UI rankings, THE rankings and QS rankings. We have also established QEC at our Affiliated colleges (QECAC).

While keeping the existing global trends and future prospects of growing demand for online and distance education, the development of a comprehensive mechanism for Online & Distance Education is vital to ensure the effective delivery of educational programs in Pakistan, particularly when we have a growing number of such digital platforms. With the rising prominence of digital learning platforms and the evolving landscape of international education standards, it has become imperative to establish a robust quality assurance system that could address the unique challenges and opportunities presented by online and distance education. In this regard, the below mentioned surveys are designed to collect the preliminary data regarding the existing situation of online and distance education.

Dr. Imran Ghafoor Chaudhary has obtained Bachelor of Engineering (distinction) from NED University Karachi, Master in Business Administration (distinction) from Hamdard University Karachi, MSc in Engineering Management (Gold Medal) from U.ET Taxila and PhD in Engineering Management from UET Taxila. He has almost 24 years experience in Academic Administration, Teaching and Research.
