The Treasurer is the officer managing property, finances and investments of the university and the secretary of the Finance and Planning Committee. The Office of the Treasurer deals with all the receipts and the expenditure of the University. The Office prepares the annual and revised budget estimates of the University and presents it before the Finance and Planning Committee for approval. The Office assists the Vice-Chancellor in all financial matters. Furthermore, the office ensures transparency in pecuniary matters. The Treasurer office also handles the matters regarding student funds, scholarships, pension, salary, and internal as well as external audit of the University.



The office performs various functions with the assistance of its team members working under different branches.

Muhammad Anwar


Mr. Muhammad Anwar has been working as Additional Treasurer since July, 2015. Graduated from Hailey College of Commerce, he started working as Assistant Treasurer University of Sargodha in January, 2004. In April, 2010 he assumed the charge of Deputy Treasurer. He participated in various professional trainings and workshops organized by the Higher Education Commission, and the Pakistan Planning and Management Institute (PPMI). As his job specification is in line with his qualification and professional training, he is performing duties as per assigned task with devotion and commitment to serve the mission of Sargodha University.
