Professor Ijaz Asghar has had a distinguished career in English language and literature at the University of Sargodha (UOS), starting as a Lecturer in English in 2003 and progressing to become an Assistant Professor until 2023, when he was promoted to Professor of English. In addition to academic roles, he has held key leadership positions within UOS, serving as the Chairperson of the Department of English, Director of Student Affairs, Director of Co-curricular Forum, Additional Registrar, and Chairman of various committees including Harassment, Ranking, and Sports Purchase, as well as Secretary of the Discipline Committee. Since 2023, as Director of External Linkages, he has facilitated collaborations and significantly contributed to the University's outreach, highlighting his commitment to excellence in education, research, and administration.
