The University of Sargodha has ample facilities for Co-Curricular activities. The University has a whole time Co-Curricular Forum that provides training & platform for all kinds of co-curricular activities e.g. Qirat, Naat, Speech, (Urdu, Punjabi & English) Bait Bazi, Fine Arts, Drama, Melody, Poetry and Fiction etc. The Forum aims at the involvement of students in various activities and events. The Forum holds interdepartmental and intervarsity competitions throughout the year and distributes cash prizes of about two hundred thousand to the position holders every year. The Forum prepares the students for inter-university competitions that are being organized by other institutions. The Forum arranges study tours, book fairs and celebrations of every important national and international day.
Our diverse student clubs and societies not only provide opportunities to enhance leadership skills but also help in developing networks and team spirit.
The campus remains abuzz with literary and scholarly events to keep our energetic youth engaged in debates and discussion stimulating critical thinking.
Working to expand student exposure through co-curricular forum
The Co-Curricular Forum focuses on the knowledge, skill and attitudinal change of the students. For this purpose, in-house training will be organized. The forum will also create opportunities for national and international trainings.
University Co-Curricular Forum creates capacity-building opportunities for the members of said societies. The forum arranges in-house training workshops for members and also find national and international training opportunities for the members according to their areas of interest.
University Co-Curricular Forum provides opportunities for networking with those national and international organizations that have the same areas of interests and their vision will support the vision of the Sargodha University’s societies.
Dr. Muhammad Munir has been serving as Director Riaz Shad Co-Curricular Forum since February 27, 2019. Through the forum, he has contributed a lot by providing the university students a platform to explore their talent regarding co-curricular activities. Under his supervision, the students of the university have won many distinctions at national level competitions. He devotedly carries the Sargodha University’s vision and mission to be a true student centric institution.
