Food production and conservation are inextricably linked as they provide the raw material to the industrial sector and help in poverty alleviation. The Faculty comprises the College of Agriculture and Institute of Food Science and Nutrition. It is one of the largest faculties of the University with a mission to produce a trained and skilled workforce demonstrating innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Faculty is at the forefront of agricultural education with a highly qualified staff, latest equipment and farmland to cater the needs/research requirements of students and staff in the field of agriculture.
