Overview

Welcome to the Department of Plant Pathology, where research, education and extension outreach programs serve as a hub of prevention of plant diseases through the exploration of plant-microbe interactions and plant health management. We nurture the students for leadership roles in the production industry of agriculture, education, medicine, in the public and private sector. Faculty and students are engaged in quality research and outreach programs dedicated to plant health and plant-microbe interactions with a focus on managing plant diseases and solving other problems that affect food safety, crop productivity, human health and ecosystem sustainability.
