Women Development Center Observes World Breast Cancer Research Day

Sargodha, August 18, 2026: The Women Development Center (WDC), University of Sargodha, observed World Breast Cancer Research Day on August 18, 2026, with the aim of raising awareness about breast cancer and highlighting the importance of early detection, research, education, and support for women.

The initiative emphasized the need to create greater awareness about breast cancer and encourage women to pay attention to their breast health. The Women Development Center highlighted that timely awareness, and early detection can play an important role in improving health outcomes.

The observance also underscored the significance of continued research into breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Through awareness initiatives, WDC seeks to empower women with reliable information and encourage a culture of openness, education, and timely action.
