The Human Resource Development Center (HRDC), in collaboration with the Software Engineering Spectrum Society at the University of Sargodha, organized a workshop on "Entrepreneurial Skill Development" aimed at equipping students with essential entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to excel in today’s competitive industry landscape.

The event was graced by the CEO of the ENCS network, Mr. Salman Abid, consultant HRDC Mr. Khurshid Yousaf; while faculty members of various departments and a large number of students attended this workshop.

Salman Abid highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in the modern economy. He stated, "Entrepreneurship is not just about starting a business; it is a mindset, a way of thinking that allows individuals to innovate, take calculated risks, and create value. The journey of an entrepreneur begins with a vision but thrives on discipline, adaptability, and perseverance."

He also emphasized the need to bridge the gap between academia and industry. "Our education system equips us with theoretical knowledge, but applying that knowledge in real-world scenarios is the ultimate test. Workshops like these are invaluable as they provide students with the tools to translate their academic learnings into actionable strategies, he concluded.
