Wazir Agha Library Hosts Training Workshop on Advanced Data Analytics Using Python

The Wazir Agha Library, University of Sargodha, organized a two-day training workshop for the Faculty of Social Sciences titled “Advanced Data Analytics Using Python”, aimed at enhancing the research and analytical capabilities of faculty members.

The training was conducted for teachers of the Faculty of Social Sciences, with Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmad, Chairman, Department of Statistics, UoS, serving as the resource person. More than 25 faculty members from various departments participated in the workshop.

The workshop was organized under the Research Support Program of Wazir Agha Library and was held under the supervision of Dr. Uzma Shahzadi, Chief Librarian and Director Academics, University of Sargodha. Javed Iqbal, Research Support Librarian, performed duties as the training coordinator.

The sessions were designed to strengthen participants’ analytical and computational skills through the application of modern data analysis techniques using Python. The workshop featured structured presentations along with hands-on practical demonstrations, enabling participants to apply data analytics tools effectively in evidence-based research and informed academic decision-making.

Faculty members actively engaged throughout the program, reflecting a strong interest in adopting advanced digital tools for research and academic purposes.
