A two-day training workshop titled ''Future Ready Leadership'' for administrative officers (Grades 17-18) organized by the Human Resource Development Center (HRDC) at the University of Sargodha concluded.
The objective of the workshop was to improve professional skills in administration and equip administrative officers with modern tools to enhance their contribution to the institution’s growth. The closing ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Pro Vice Chancellor UoS, Prof. Dr. Mian Ghulam Yasin.
Addressing the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Mian Ghulam Yasin emphasized that workshops like these not only increase the skills of officers but also contribute significantly to enhance the overall performance of the university. He encouraged the participants to use this practical knowledge for their personal and professional development.
On the second day, the workshop featured Mr. Khursheed Yousaf, Consultant HRDC, who delivered a lecture on "Leading Change". He explained that change requires not only intention but also a comprehensive strategy and understanding. Mr. Yousaf also elaborated the ADKAR model, which consists of five key stages for the successful implementation of change.
Dr. Muhammad Haris Aziz, Principal College of Engineering & Technology UoS, delivered a lecture on "Continuous Process Improvement: Small Changes, Big Results". He emphasized that change is a continuous process, where small, consistent steps lead to significant results over time. He further explained that for organizational growth, not only large-scale changes are important but also the daily, incremental improvements matter greatly
Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal, Director ORIC, shed light on Financial Management. He stated that a crucial element of any institution’s success is its financial management. If financial resources are used effectively and planning is done correctly, an institution can better achieve its goals
The workshop was attended by 40 administrative officers from various university departments. At the conclusion of the event, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mian Ghulam Yasin distributed shields and certificates to the keynote speakers and participants.
