Green Ambassador Program: Session 5 at University of Sargodha
The 5th session of the Green Ambassador Program at the University of Sargodha was conducted successfully. Prof. Dr. Fadzillah Adiba Abd (Director, Institute of Climate Change, UMT Malaysia) and Dr. Julian Shaw led in-person, hands-on interventions focused on converting wasted food into organic bio-fertilizer and other organic products.

As part of the training for the first batch, participants also learned the preparation of several other organic products, strengthening practical skills for sustainable, low-cost production.

A memorable moment came when a participant brought leftover food from the cafeteria and asked, β€œIs this waste or a resource?” By the end of the session, that same β€œwaste” had become usable bio-fertilizer, showing how small choices can create real environmental and economic value.

The University of Sargodha continues its efforts to shape graduating students into green entrepreneurs, promoting self-sustainability and climate-smart livelihoods.
