The Department of Zoology, University of Sargodha, organized a Mehfil-e-Milad-e-Mustafa ﷺ with great reverence and devotion.
The event brought together a large number of faculty members and students, including Chairman Department of Zoology Dr. Muhammad Khalid Mukhtar and Dr. Muhammad Anas from the Department of Arabic.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat competition in which students passionately paid tribute to the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Outstanding participants were awarded special prizes for their performances.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Muhammad Anas highlighted that the life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ is a guiding light for the whole of humanity. He said that the Prophet ﷺ exemplified justice, equality, compassion, and service to mankind through his actions. Dr. Anas stressed that today’s youth can achieve success in both this world and the Hereafter by shaping their lives according to the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ.
He further emphasized that education is not only about obtaining degrees but also about character building and bringing positive change in society. Other speakers also shed light on the Seerat-e-Tayyaba, calling it a complete code of life.
The event concluded with a special prayer for the peace, prosperity, and unity of the Muslim Ummah.
