The College of Engineering and Technology, University of Sargodha, hosted a series of events, including the Marqa-e-Haq awareness walk in continuation of Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations.  

Principal College of Engineering and Technology Dr. Malik Muneeb Abid, Additional Commissioner FBR Ali Saleh Hayat Kalyan, Principal College of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Ijaz Rasool Noorka, SDO Irrigation Muhammad Gul Pasha, Chairman Mechanical Engineering Dr. Muhammad Haris Aziz, Chairman Electrical Engineering Dr. Saeed Khan, Advocate Bar Council Sargodha Khawar Cheema, faculty members, and a large number of students participated in the activities.

Participants of the Marqa-e-Haq rally paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces for the defense of the motherland and reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the country’s freedom, sovereignty, and progress.

Dr. Malik Muneeb Abid hoisted the national flag and said the Marqa-e-Haq symbolizes the resolve and sacrifices that led to the creation of Pakistan. He urged the youth to uphold this spirit by focusing on scientific, technological, and economic advancement so the country could excel in both defense and prosperity.

The celebrations also featured quiz and table tennis competitions, which drew enthusiastic student participation, and a technology exhibition displaying innovative projects, earning high praise from visitors.
