Pakistan Institute of China Studies and Confucius Institute hosted a momentous "Certificate Awarding Ceremony" at University Of Sargodha aimed to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of students who successfully completed the HSK-1 and HSK-2 Chinese language courses on Tuesday. The ceremony not only recognized students' achievements but also encouraged a deeper understanding of the Chinese language.
The Ceremony was graced by the Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha Prof. Dr Qaisar Abbas and the Director of the Pakistan Institute of China Studies Dr. Fazal ur Rahman, faculty members, and students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Sargodha, emphasized the vital role of foreign languages learning, particularly Chinese, for personal, national benefit, and career development. He highlighted the immense significance of the Chinese language due to China's large population, development across various sectors, abundant resources, and strong export capabilities besides china’s emerging global role.
Dr. Abbas encouraged the students, referring to them as the future of the nation, to draw inspiration from China's development model and contribute fresh ideas for the progress and development of Pakistan.
Dr. Fazal ur Rahman also expressed profound gratitude for the student's enthusiasm and emphasized the significance of learning the Chinese language. He highlighted that the program was initiated in 2019 and has witnessed enrollment from over 850 students. Dr Rahman highlighted the contribution of Confucius of UoS and thanked the director and teachers for their continued sport with commitment.   
In the end, the Vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, and Director of the Pakistan Institute of China Studies Dr. Fazal ur Rahman distributed certificates among the students who had completed their HSK-1 and HSK-2 Chinese language courses.
