CDC at University of Sargodha Launched Free Online Python Programing Course

The Career Development Center, University of Sargodha, has launched a free online Python programming course in collaboration with iCodeGuru to enhance participants’ digital and technical skills through practical, hands-on learning.
The initiative has received an overwhelming response, with over 2,000 students registered and many faculty members also enrolled to strengthen their programming expertise.
Python is one of the most in-demand programming languages globally, known for its simplicity, versatility, and wide applications in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, web development, and automation. Mastering Python enables learners to develop strong analytical and problem-solving abilities while improving their career prospects in both the local and international job markets.
This four-week course is being conducted entirely online, offering two convenient slots for participants. Assignments and attendance are mandatory, ensuring active learning and consistent engagement. Led by professional mentors from iCodeGuru, the sessions focus on practical exercises, coding projects, and real-world applications to build genuine programming proficiency. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate, adding value to their academic and professional portfolios.
Speaking about the initiative, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal, Director ORIC, appreciated the collective efforts made to launch such a high-impact program. He emphasized that the course aligns with ORIC’s vision of empowering students and faculty through technology-driven learning opportunities.
Masooma Zahara, Career Development Officer, stated that the Career Development Center (CDC) will continue its efforts to bring meaningful and skill-oriented learning opportunities for students, aiming to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands.
