The Career Development Center, in collaboration with the Malik Firoz Khan Noon Business School and the Department of Economics, organized a Recruitment Drive for Cakes & Bakes — an initiative aimed at hiring Management Trainee Officers for the Sales & Operations Department, leading to future roles as Branch Managers.
This recruitment drive offered students and graduates of the University of Sargodha an excellent opportunity to explore potential career paths, enhance their professional competencies, and network with industry professionals — all while taking a significant step toward dynamic careers in the corporate sector.
More than 50 students from both departments participated in the drive, which featured a surprise assessment as part of the selection process. Impressively, Cakes & Bakes shortlisted four or more candidates from the University, highlighting the talent, preparation, and employability of our students in real-world industry environments.
A key highlight of the event was the presence of Mr. Salman Saeed Qureshi, Group Senior General Manager (Human Development & Recruitment) at Cakes & Bakes, who personally conducted the interviews. His engagement with the students added significant value to the process, offering insightful feedback and real-time exposure to corporate recruitment standards.
This initiative reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to fostering industry-academia linkages and equipping students with the skills and experiences necessary for meaningful and impactful careers.
