Overview

The Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Energy Systems (DMIES) at the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), University of Sargodha, is committed to serving high-quality engineering and technological education. Our core goal is to prepare graduates to address complex global challenges in industry, the modern business economy, and research through technical excellence, practical skill development, and entrepreneurial vision. DMIES offers accredited degree programs designed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical execution: BSc Mechanical Engineering (4 Years) BE Tech (Mechanical) (4 Years) MSc Mechanical Engineering (2 Years) The department strictly adheres to the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework, ensuring that curriculum design, course delivery, Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), and Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) directly align with the vision and mission of the University of Sargodha and the evolving needs of the industrial market. Through hands-on laboratory experiences, project-based learning, and exposure to industrial settings via field visits, DMIES empowers the relevant industry with highly qualified, trained engineers and technologists capable of life-long learning and career leadership.
