Profile

Dr. Muhammad Talha Bin Yousaf is serving as an Assistant Professor in Department of Forestry, University of Sargodha. His area of specialization is degraded soils and plant physiology. He has worked on reclamation of degraded lands through modified Miyawaki plantation methods during his PhD research. He has also examined the effect of organic amendments on various water relation traits under drought stress during his stay in The University of Melbourne. He has studied about the estimation of carbon sequestration status and potential of agroforestry tree species under semi-arid climatic conditions. Moreover, he has also explored the phytoremediation of heavy metals by using different tree species and soil amendments. He has published 15 research articles and contributed in three book chapters in the field of forestry.
