Academic Branch

The Academic Branch is responsible for the smooth conduct of academic activities. The main functions of the branch are as under:​

  1. Conducting various meetings of University bodies including Syndicate, Academic Council, Advanced Studies and Research Board, Board of Faculties, Board of Studies, Deans Committee and meetings of Chairmen/In-charges/Administrative Heads of the University
  2. Ensuring arrangements of Convocation and other academic events of the University
  3. Issuing English Proficiency Certificates and various notifications related to academic matters, the appointment of Deans, Chairmen/In-charges of the departments and Hostel Administration
  4. (Warden, Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent)
  5. Maintaining the record of academic programs’ curriculum offered in the University
  6. Corresponding academic matters with the Higher Education Commission, Governor’s Secretariat and Government of Punjab
