Ms. Taiba Zulfiqar is an accomplished academic, researcher, educator, and healthcare professional with 14+ years of experience in higher education, clinical practice, administration, and research. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Diagnostic Ultrasound, holding an MPhil in Epidemiology & Public Health (UVAS, Lahore), an MPhil in Radiology & Imaging (Times Institute, Multan), and a BS in Medical Imaging Technology (UHS, Lahore). She secured 3rd Position in the Final Professional Examination at SIMS, Lahore, with Distinctions in Radiation Sciences & Technology and MRI from UHS.
She has held key positions including Assistant Professor & Head of Department (Sialkot Medical College), Senior Lecturer (University of Lahore and Imperial University), Clinical Coordinator, and Diagnostic Laboratory Manager — leading teams of 30+ staff, developing curricula, supervising clinical placements/internships, and contributing to quality assurance and faculty mentoring across Punjab. She has supervised BS, MSc, and MPhil research as Research Supervisor/Co-Supervisor.
An American Heart Association-certified BLS Provider, she has completed training in Basic Concepts of Biosafety (UVAS, 2017), a 2-week course on Managing Mental Health and Stress (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK) and a 4-week course on COVID-19 (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK).
A multiple Best Event Organizer Award winner, she has organized the 3rd Pak Health Expo & International Conference (Lahore), World Thalassemia Day Seminar & Screening Camp (Sialkot Medical College), and World Radiology Day (University of Lahore, Chenab Campus), and presented at the Ian Donald 4th International Conference on Gynecology & Obstetric Ultrasound.
She has authored peer-reviewed publications in diagnostic radiology, ultrasound, and public health, with research interests in musculoskeletal, abdominal, and obstetric imaging and epidemiology — driven by a commitment to evidence-based practice and healthcare education.
