Sargodha, Pakistan — 9 October 2026

The University of Sargodha successfully completed the First Cohort of the Mentoring Programme for Universities (MPU) under the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.

Dr. Nargis Abbas, Associate Professor at the Institute of Education and Incharge of the Women Development Center (WDC), University of Sargodha, served as the programme’s focal person.

The successful completion of the first cohort reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening mentorship, professional development, leadership skills, and collaboration within higher education. The initiative aims to foster supportive professional relationships and promote continuous learning among university faculty.
