The University of Sargodha organized a Mega  event titled ''Job Fair 2023'' on Thursday.
The Job Fair was aimed at providing students and alumni with the opportunity to interact with potential employers and learn about job openings and career prospects in various fields. More than 50 leading companies and organizations from different sectors conducted on-spot interviews with the candidates.

The fair featured booths and stalls set up by various companies and organizations where students could learn about job requirements, salary packages, and the selection process. The participating companies included national corporations from various sectors including banking, technology, education, healthcare, government, and non-profit organizations.

The organizers received an overwhelming response from the participating companies and the students and alumni who attended the event.
The Vice-Chancellor University of Sargodha, Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas graced this event and expressed his satisfaction with the success of the Job Fair and congratulated the organizers on their hard work and dedication. He reiterated the university's commitment to providing its students with the best possible opportunities to build successful careers and contribute to society. We extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to our partner organizations for their active participation and unwavering support in making this event a resounding success, he added.
He also said ‘’this is the first job fair of its kind in the university. We are trying to organize such events in the future as well so that students get employment opportunities.’’

A Mass Communication Student Tahreem Shahid while expressing her feeling said that the Job Fair 2023 is a remarkable occasion for students to expand their knowledge about various career paths, engage with seasoned professionals in their fields of interest, and acquire a competitive advantage in the job market.
