Dr. Muhammad Fayyaz ur Rehman has done his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Structural Biology from the School of Biosciences at the University of Birmingham, UK. He has been working on computational biology methods and in silico protein structure determination during his PostDoc. Nowadays, he is working on infectious diseases, probing and designing diagnosis methods, enzyme inhibitions approaches, and metagenomics. He has also developed methods for in vivo, in vitro, and in silico biological activities including antimicrobial, anti-Alzheimer, anti-diabetic, and pesticidal/insecticidal activities. He is collaborating on organic/inorganic synthesis, computational chemistry, proteomics, and genomics methods. Recently, he won a project on typhoid diagnosis methods worth 12.72 million. He is the editor of one journal and reviews many well-reputed journals in the field. He has organized more than 20 workshops and conferences and has attended more than 50 international/national workshops/conferences.
He is a master trainer at PHEC for "Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools in Higher Education" and has trained more than 1000 faulty members from the universities across the Punjab, Pakistan
