Profile

An exploration geologist with over thirteen years of experience in academia and industry related projects. Have worked in clastic/carbonate and unconventional projects in South Asia, Middle East and South East Asia. Expert in facies description, analysis, depositional settings, sequence interpretation and chemostratigraphic. Creator of several conceptual models for sediments with reference to Tectonics/Sea Level changes, that can be used as input for forward stratigraphic models. In Future Facies in ML/AI. Prior to it Dr. Haroon has done MS in Geology from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Before that, he completed MSc and BSc in Petroleum Geology and Geotectonics from University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan with distinction. His future interests include on project management, entrepreneurship and commercialization of various geological products.
