Dr. Tasawer Abbas currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Agronomy at the College of Agriculture, University of Sargodha, Pakistan. Prior to this role, he served as an instructor and demonstrator of agronomy at the In-Service Agriculture Training Institute (IATI) in Sargodha. He obtained a Ph.D. in agronomy and an M.Sc. in agriculture-agronomy from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in 2017 and 2013, respectively. Dr. Abbas conducted research at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, USA as a visiting research scholar during 2016-2017. His current research interests include the evaluation and management of herbicide-resistant weeds, the impact of climate change on weed dynamics, and bio-based nutrient management to advance sustainable agriculture goals.
