College of Pharmacy Manufactures Cost Effective Hand Sanitizer
In the battle against novel coronavirus outbreak in Pakistan, Sargodha University produced cost effective hand sanitizers to combat the shortage which is becoming increasingly difficult to come by.
Keeping in view the shortage and hike in the prices of sanitizers as a direct result of COVID-19 pandemic, the University distributed a large number of sanitizers among the University employees and the general masses at zero cost. The sanitizer has also been sent to the Governor House, Chief Minister Secretariat, Higher Education Commission, Higher Education Department and number of public sector universities.
The analytical grade ingredients used to make this sanitizer include Ethyl Alcohol 60%, Aloe Vera gel 30%, Glycerin 10% and Lavender oil 1ML per liter.
About 100, wall mounted hand sanitizer bottle holders were also fixed at different places within the University premises to help prevent furthering the spread of COVID-19.
