Profile

Dr. Sultan Mahmood Zangi is a researcher focusing on quantum entanglement in multipartite systems, quantum information theory, and quantum computing. He earned his PhD from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, under the prestigious CAS-TWAS fellowship. Following this, he was selected as a postdoctoral fellow at the Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen, China, and later completed a second postdoc at Yunnan University, Kunming, China. Before joining the University of Sargodha, he also served as a visiting lecturer at the University of Okara for two semesters. His work explores the fundamental and applied aspects of entanglement, focusing on its role in secure communication, quantum algorithms, and computational advantages over classical systems. He is also interested in the study of quantum materials, investigating their potential for advancing next-generation quantum technologies. Through research, his aim is to contribute to the theoretical foundations and practical implementations of quantum information science.
