Administration Branch

The primary role of Administration Branch is to provide support to the Registrar office in dealing withmatters related to teaching and non-teaching staff starting from recruitment till relieving of the employees. This also includes implementation of HR policies. There following are three sub sections of Administration Branch:

  • Establishment I:
    Maintains the record of all teaching staff of the University and deals with various mattersincluding issuance of various NOCs, experience certificates, all types of leave including study leave etc
  • Establishment II:
    Maintains the record of all non-teaching staff of the University and deals with various matters including issuance of various NOCs, experience certificates, all types of leave and other official matters
  • Human Resources:
    Maintains the record of recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff of te University and deals with the Human Resource Operations mainly including mainly meetings of University Selection
    Board, Selection Committees, Appointment of visiting / Part-Time teachers, recruitment matters of Public Private Partnership Sub-Campuses etc

Academic Branch

Academic Branch is responsible for smooth conduct of academic activities. Main functions of the branch are as under:​

  • Conduct of various meetings of University bodies including Syndicate, Academic Council,Advanced Studies and Research Board, Boards of Faculties, Board of Studies, Deans Committee and meetings of Chairmen/Incharges/Administrative Heads of the University
  • Coordinating arrangements of Convocation and other academic events of the University
  • Issuance of various notifications connected with the academic matters, appointment of Deans and Chairmen/Incharges of the departments, appointment of Hostel Administration
  • (Warden,Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent)
  • Issuance of English Proficiency Certificates
  • Maintaining the record of curriculum of academic programs offered in the University
  • Correspondence relating to academic matters with Higher Education Commission, Governor’sSecretariat, Government of the Punjab

Affiliation and Registration Branch

Affiliation Branch of the University is entrusted with the prime task of associating Educational Institutions as per Section 29 of UOS Ordinance 2002. Being the first ever choice of the Institutions & students throughout the Province, the Branch is catering to the requests of many Institutions, where thousands of students are enrolled to satisfy their thirst of knowledge in various academic programs. In this way, the University’s mission to provide purposeful education & training is being achieved.

Registration Branch of the University performs significant task to register each & every student seeking admission at principal seat, sub-campuses or affiliated colleges. Once a student is registered at under-graduate, graduate or post-graduate level, his/her registration number remains intact until he/she obtains NOC or seeks migration to move elsewhere. The branch maintains the register of the students.
