Overview

Registrar is the Chief Operating Officer and Secretary of the various academic and administrative bodies of the University including Syndicate. The office assists the Vice Chancellor in the overall functioning of the University ranging from academics, affiliation, registration and administration. The office of the registrar ensures the implementation of policies and rules & regulations for the attainment of the University’s vision and mission. This office works in close coordination with all the teaching and non-teaching departments to provide the best possible services to the employees and students. Meetings of various bodies/committees like Selection Board, Advanced Studies and Research Board, Academic Council and Syndicate, etc. are arranged by this office.

Mr Waqar Ahmed

Additional Registrar (GENERAL)

Mr. Waqar Ahmad assumed charge of the post of Additional Registrar (General) on 3rd September 2021. He holds the degree of M Phil in English Literature and has more than 17 years of administrative experience to his credit. Previously, he served as Assistant Controller of Examinations, Deputy Controller of Examinations, and Additional Controller of Examinations from 2004 to 2021. He also worked as Controller of Examinations, University of Sargodha on an additional charge basis in 2017. He has attended various professional training organized by HEC and PHEC. His aim is to provide the best possible services to the faculty, staff, and students of the university within the ambit of rules and regulations.
